Dear Mr. deCant,
The entire student body and staff from Tisko Elementary School want to send you a BIG “Thank you”. Your
inspiration and explicit instruction helped our students to enjoy your very creative, instructional entertainment. It
really is hard to find good cultural awareness activities that help incorporate our new Common Core curriculum
standards as your performance does. Mrs. Nelson, a Kindergarten teacher stated, “Finally, something our students
at the lower levels can learn from and use within our classrooms”. Your unique songs and creativity helped create
a wonderful experience and by the way, Metamorphosis was my favorite! Thank you for inspiring my students to
become better learners!!!
Sincerely yours, James O’Connor, Principal

Dear Al,
I have been meaning to write to tell you that you made a HUGE hit in our community! Everyone, young and old,
absolutely loved you!  Several parents have said that you must come back again!  I couldn't agree more.Thank
you for making our opening picnic and Dedication a successful and memorable event.  I love it when parents say
they want more, as I am sure you can relate to! :)
With love and appreciation,
Mary Lou, Head of School, Cobb School Montessori Simsbury, CT

We had a wonderful program last night with Al deCant! Al performed his Pajama Jam program for a very
enthusiastic group of children and their parents.  He is enthusiastic, talented, energetic, and genuinely likes being
around children.  Al recently retired from his job as an elementary school principal and is focusing on his music
programs.  I highly recommend him for your library or local school!”
Allison Murphy, Children’s Library Programmer, Mark Twain Library Redding, CT

Hi Al
Once again you were a HUGE hit with the kids. The kids really loved your silly songs, your fun props and your
energetic personality.  Move over Wiggles, Al de Cant is the new kids’ favorite!
Sincerely,
Danielle Dumont, Executive Director, Milford's Promise, Milford, CT

We had the singing principal, Al deCant, at Plainville Public last night. This guy is awesome!
He performed for a full hour and had the kids up and dancing and playing along on percussion instruments,
parading, etc. He is also reasonably priced.
Susan Rooney, Children's Librarian, Plainville Public Library

Dear Al deCant,
Thank you so much for the fabulous program you preformed for our library this summer.  Your music is truly
terrific!  Children and adults all thought you were great!  You had everyone up and joining in...I cannot thank you
enough for adding so much positive energy to our summer. We can't wait to have you back.

Dear Al,
Thank you for your outstanding character education program, WE ARE CARING. You really know how to
energize and inspire your audience. Our students will remember your musical messages for many years. We play
your CARING song over the PA the first Monday of every month as a kick off to our monthly character theme.
Teacher and students can’t wait to have you back.
Harry Gagliardi, Principal, Anna LoPresti School, Seymour, CT

Dear Al,
I finally listened to your music last week and (to paraphrase Red Grammar) I Think It’s Wonderful! Your songs
are very singable and fun, you have a great voice, the recordings are well done, and you care deeply about kids.
When you are ready to hit the road you should have many audiences eagerly awaiting you.
