outstanding evening of high quality family entertainment.  With Al’s vast experience
working with elementary school children, your Family Night will be an evening to

grade levels attending the show. Al presents upbeat interactive songs and stories which
encourage students to think about how they interact with one another, nature and the
environment. Themes for Family Night can be customized to meet your needs and
interests. One popular theme is the Literacy PAJAMA JAM Night!  Children come in their
pajamas, robes, slippers; they can bring a pillow or a teddy bear and of course their
favorite book!

Al has been performing for Connecticut children and their families for many years.
His performance is packed with lively music and a variety of themes and stories
that celebrate all that is special about being a kid.

                    Al’s
"We Are C.A.R.I.N.G.",concerts are all about creating a
                                    safe and respectful school environment.

(
C.A.R.I.N.G. is an acronym for Courteous, Achieving, Responsible, Interested,
Neighborly and Growing, and its concept and music is being used in schools and
classrooms throughout Connecticut.)

The performance is lively and uses original interactive songs and stories that encourage
students to think about how they relate and treat one another and to consider the effects
of their actions. In this program children will sing along, laugh, and reflect on how it
feels to be in someone else’s shoes. Cooperation, communication and empathy are the
key ingredients in this performance.

As a former teacher and principal, Al is well versed with all grade levels and has
professional development experience in many character education  programs:
Character
Counts; Don’t Laugh At Me
; Second Steps, and his original program "We Are C.A.R.I.N.G".
Al is available after performances to work with student and teachers in activities and
role playing that will help foster a safe and respectful school environment.
